Managed to get out for a night of shooting on a moonless night.
The stars were magnificent, even managed to capture a bit of the Aurora Borealis (or Northern Lights) - it's in the first segment. A few clouds later kept things interesting.
Shot in the Rideau Lakes area near Westport, Ontario, Canada.

The title is a line from the movie "2010".

  • Thanks for the comments. I'm looking forward to shooting in the early spring before the trees fill in - should be even better.

    Cheers

  • Which camera are you using?

    cheers! :)

  • @RR123RR

A Nikon D7000 with an 18-200 F3.5 and a 50 F1.8 for this. Thanks, I thought I had put it in the tags (it's there now).

    Cheers
