Gay Family Values Easter Egg Coloring

This is a video of our families yearly routine. Every year we color our easter eggs like every other family in America. we are a family that lives in northern CA. Me and my partner have been together 13 years we have been married since Oct. We started making these family values videos when prop 8 passed here in Ca. We want people to see that gay families are just like any other families. We strugle with our mortgage taxes and exspenses. We love each other and take care of each other. As i watched this video i felt a mixture of emotions. On the one hand, i felt glad to see a happy same-sex parented family spending quality time with each other and having fun. On the other hand to see those kids being indoctrinated with christian rubbish, and with the stereotypical gender roles (pink for girls; blue for boys), and to see it done by homosexual parents... well, in the words of Stephen Sondheim, it "hurts me more than i can say". These are the sins they should hope be forgiven.

My friend I know that not all people feel comfortable with god/religion... I would never want our videos to hurt any one with there content. Our videos are a reflection of our family. We are very spiritual people but understand that relition has put alot of hurt and pain into the world. Selena love all girly things she is into pink and purples and danile loves blue... We didnt teach them that that is what they just like.

I'll admit that I found the image of gay families to be odd at first. When I think of "family" I instantly think of a dad, mom, and children. So when I saw you guys and your kids it was naturally an odd sight for me having never known any gay families. 2 dads? It's just not something you see every day. But in the short time I've been exposed to your family, it's so easy to see that nothing could be more perfect and beautiful. Like any healthy family, all I see is love and happiness.

@EvenEvenOdd They never pushed the colours on the kids, when did you hear them say 'right you're a girl, you have pink.. etc'? They chose them themselves. If they had made them have colours contrary to what is typical, everyone would start bashing them for forcing their ways on them, they can't win! They seem like pretty normal kids to me, leave them alone. All they did was tell them what Easter actually meant in traditional terms, hardly indoctrination!

Its funny because so many people diss families

that have same sex parents, yet when i watch this video that gives me

even the tiniest look into their lives, it already looks more loving

and functional than my childhood where i was raised by completely hetero parents.
