Yes and it's very very important to our current administration, the older worker's may actually have a work ethic, and will work and actually produce something, instead of the younger product which has been raised under the politically correct notions that all people should be honored and shown to be special regardless of their productivity, grades, etc. The younger workers have been so ruined by these notions that they are all "special" that they do not even understand what the term work is.

@investortownhall indeed this is a gret video. It is a shame that many corporate CEOs act like little children when it comes to hiring someone over 40 or 50. What even burns me is that they cram lots of money in their pocket and lie about it by saying we can't afford to keep these older workers around and they kick the older worker out and hire the younger one. Corporate CEOs that choose to behave like that need to be stood up against the wall and shot!

@Andybaby Psychics are dirtbags. The laws are there. They are poorly enforced.

it won't make a difference, they'll just come up with some other excuse.

There ARE those who do follow it! The laws are there to protect them. However we need to have strict penalties to keep all places of employement running like the way they are supposed to!

The law covers everybody. Yes, fast food joints do age discriiminate and they know better. The top CEOs of the fast food industy ought to be kicked good and hard for it.

what about age discrimination in the fast food industry?

@Streetcar1743

There is a new bill on the table right now to make sure that the older workers get to keep their jobs and also for people that are in their 50s and older can get work.
