Naima was written by John Coltrane in 1959, and named after his wife at the time, Juanita Naima Grubb. It's on the album Giant Steps, and is in my opinion one of the most beautiful examples of modal composition.

Well...that sent me on an internet search. What a treat....two very handsome brothers with incredibly sensitive ears that seem to speak to mine as well. I see you also like Prokofiev...damn yeah!!!
