Funny how times change. My Dutch Oma bought me a new red Maxi in '71 to ride during the summer while I would visit. Never mind I was 13. I liked riding it but really wanted a boys 3 speed version. My Puch actually made it to the USA a few years later but I sold it for $25 later on. Dumb. You always remember your toys from when you are young. This is one. Pretty wild to see what a monster it has become in some of these fotos. And, well done to Puch for making a long lived machine.
