BTW - Frampton left BECAUSE the band wanted to be more hard rock so the fact they did was no accident.Personally see little relation between Savoy, Pie, and Ten Years other than being blues based and British.And Frampton's band was Frampton plus a NY band called Doc Holliday (which included Frank Carillo.) Just FYI. Anyway - don't mean to pick on you - thanks for that "Hot Smoke..." version on yer channel!!!

@rickro229 i know a guy a classmate who played guitar on the record framptons camel and he was in the phil ochs memorial concert he is in here his name is frank carillo [ after frampton left humble pie they seemed to go in a straight ahead ball you music direction like ten years after ] listen to the boogie by savoy brown it just arrived

@spacepatrolman Hi Spacepatrolman, It does sound like Framptons earlier work and Ogdens which was done by Small Faces. Steve Marriott was such a good vocalist and songwriter and so is Frampton.
