Other than people who take classes with someone, do people at bars and such just *know* how all the steps to these dances and if so, are the same dances always done to certain songs?

At classes and social dances if the country dj plays the particular track then we tend to dance the dance thta was choreographed to it, but if we are out in a club or bar and a band or solo entertainer is performing we will dance the dances to whatever they are playing, as long as it is ie a cha cha, waltz or two step style of dance and the tune being played is of that style of beat, hope that has helped you out, many thanks alan & sonia
