I like the way you present the Khmer language to English-speaking persons. You both pronounce and Romanize the words and explain the relationship between the speaker and the listener. Using the Roman letters helps us to approximate the sounds of the non-English language. Even though writing the phrases on paper is "low-tech", it is effective and I salute you for your efforts.

I don't know either but we commonly use "Bong" and "oun" in this case. Keep it simple. Try not to nuke it. =)

Hi, I was taught to say "kinium sraw lang nyeh" is that okay too?

I am a white guy who married into a khmer family and I thank very much. I now can talk to my in-laws more thanks to your vids. Even came in handy at a hospital when my motherinlaw was sick so thank you very much!
