  • Thanks for this review! I agree with your vote for the HP Touchpad 100%. I just ordered one (used) from Amazon after being derailed last summer by HP's insane decision to discontinue the model. I missed out on the $99 firesale, gave up on it with regret but ran into an IPAD fanatic who had to concede that the Touchpad was amazing. I'm a Palm Pre Plus user and after using that superior multi-tasking interface I can't settle for the lesser Android and IPad interfaces. I

  • @GoodnWise Enjoy your new TouchPad.

  • Nice work techharvest but i want to know your opinion about HP slate 2 and is it better than ipad2 & xoom or not in your opinion?

what do you think, what is the best win 7 tablet???

    thank you

  • @THEMENAMAX I'm not going to start reviewing Windows tablets until Windows 8 comes out. All current Windows tablets run Windows 7 and really there is no benefit from the touch interface. You are better off spending $699 on a good Core i5 Windows laptop then spending $699 on the HP Slate with an Atom processor.

  • I think I want the HP TouchPad after your honest review. I already have an iPhone so my apps are not a priority. Great Job!

  • WebOS is genius. The best OS Ever!

Everyone that is not a biased fanboy who have used WebOS all agree that it's amazing.

And now with the new updates and patches it's even better.

I really hope HP doesn't do something stupid and end WebOS, just because they came into the Tablet market with a rough start and had bad marketing in comparison to Apple and Android.

Long live WebOS and HP. Getting the 16GB from Amazon for $300 was the best buy I've ever made. :)

  • They're really close, but while I think the iPad is more smooth, I think that the Touchpad as a whole captures more of what a tablet should be like. And if I want more apps, I can install Android OS and have wayyy more app options than the iPad. So for me, Toushpad is one of the best ones out there.

Although it would be interesting to see the HP versus the Asus Prime =)

  • @always Cloudbrowse is connecting to another guys servers and view the flash those servers are rendering.. Its streaming in other words, also, you can install android on the touchpad opening a huge catalog of apps

  • I have a HP Touchpad, and i do enjoy using it, though sometimes it chokes and slows right down and i have to wait while it sorts itself out. I like the OS and its interface, though i feel like it could perhaps have been coded/developed better to run faster/smoother. i also think its a shame that they throttled the CPU to 1.2, when people are successfully overclocking them to 1.9 with obvious no draw back, and making it run much faster. I like the unit, but the apparent lag really annoys me.

  • @Randomguy578 thats random, randomguy

  • How long is THE battery life
