I like the point, we should continue to learn and improve and not just be satisfied with supporting ASL and loving it, but KNOWing it. I think this is very true- I know many hearing who 'know' ASL but don't delve into it like you say and don't seem to care to. Kind of sad...

I am trying to learn more sign language. It would really help hearing people if you could caption your videos. This would help us to learn to communicate better. Thank you!

I get his point, think before you jump the leap to say you know ASL very well. All I know is that ASL all about movements, expression, short sentence (now that didn't mean they're very easy without english, it already said in body language and facial expression).

They need to learn to respect them when they said they want to keep ASL. It doesn't matter if they know deep about ASL or not. They don't have rights to dictate us. They just are victim since they didn't have ASL class. It's like if a woman says no, it means no. Just leave at that. It's not true that 3rd man focus on negativism. People like him just help us. We should respect him for saving our language. Without people like 1st, 2nd and 3rd person, then our language may be gone.
