Chito-Ryu Bassai - 89 Soke Cup - Jr B Boys - 1st place

With just a few weeks to go until the 10th International Soke Cup. I thought it would be fitting to dig out some old footage from my first Soke Cup (Vancouver, Canada, 1989). This year, we have a few students who are now about the same age as I was in the video preparing for their first Soke Cup, I thought they might get a bit of a laugh at seeing what I looked like as a 12 yr old, brown belt.

It's always a bit of a shock looking back at old videos like this, but thankfully my karate has improved a lot since then.
