None of mine have ever howled... they've all been talkers.

Ugh my dane does this in the morning, laying on her side, doesn't even bother to lift her head up! I work 2nd shift so I'd much rather sleep in than wake up to this particular noise lol. She's my baby though.

@yoshi5522 - Our 2 year old Dane did this same thing when he was about 3 months old...Only just started doing it again last night...very cute :-)

@MissDolittle That's the same way with my black lab, he only howls when there are sirens in the area.
