The making and racing of the Viking III
The Viking III is a formula-style racecar, designed and built by the SDU Vikings Racing Team.
The SDU Vikings are all engineering students from University of Southern Denmark (Syddansk Universitet). Probably, about 50 engineering students have layed hand on the finished racecar, which took a year to design and build.
The car is built to compete in the formula student series, a racing event attended by university teams from all over the world.
In 2011 SDU Vikings will be back with Viking IV, which will compete in the European Formula Student Events
