@bcrkris I have a pair of over the knee striped socks (I have them on now) never worn them with shorts though, think my husband would object.

I ended up getting a pair of long stripped socks for Christmas, similar to Eric's. I didn't have the nerve to wear them with shorts, but I did wear them alot with jeans and boots. My Mom got them because they were in style. She didn't know that any of the Rollers wore them.

Was this from the first show that was broadcast of them in the States? I seem to recall the stage setting but the song seems from later on. Any clues anyone?

@EMMead2000 The song is from their album "Strangers in the Wind" that was released in 1978. Some of the stage clips are from Midnight Special and I think these were from their 1977 show - not positive. The pics/songs are not always rom the same year as I try to match the scene with the words.
