*UPDATE* After the Railworks 2 update added working crossing signals, SMM Digital has ceased further development and updates on these signals. You can still download them if you want but bear in mind that they are no longer supported by the site.

*UPDATE #2* Check the video responses for a tutorial on how to set up the newer crossings.

Sorry about the occasional frame stuttering. My computer really hates running RailWorks and FRAPS at the same time.

Trying out the SMM Digital crossing signals I downloaded. It's amazing how much more realism these add to RailWorks. They can be a bit of pain to set up but trust me it's worth the effort. You can get the signals here:

I'm also showcasing the new engines and railcars I've downloaded recently. You can find them all for FREE here (Bear in mind you do need to have some of the paid DLC for some of these to work):

A big thanks to BNSF650 for showing me this site.

  • dude how can i get this map? its amazing...

  • @DieselSmoke92 This is the Barstow to San Bernardino route. It comes with Railworks.

  • @crazedtofu ok thanks and also i cant figure out how to add addon trains. Can you help?

  • @DieselSmoke92 It's not the same for every addon. Some people make an RWP file you can install through the package manager. Some people make an installer that will do most everything for you and some people just provide the files and you have to install them manually. They should all include a readme file though that will explain what you need to do.

  • @crazedtofu Yup its funny just after i wrote that i torqued around and figured it out and got some new locomotives ingame and a gp-38 sound pack working. Also how can i get the locomotives i have downloaded to a drive by train or drive by route option without me making my own route? i guess downloading new routes people made but im wondering if the game provides them with these mods. Thanks.

  • @DieselSmoke92 When you're in a route you have to go into the scenario editor. From there you can access all the locomotives and rail cars you have installed and put your own train together.
