I rummaged through my closet, trying to find the right outfit, but I just couldn't'. I had absolutely nothing to wear. I went shuffled the hangers back and forth looking for the right outfit. I digged right to the back of my closet, when I found Sophie's pink tutu on the floor "why was this doing here?" I thought to myself. I shrugged my shoulders and put it to aside and continuing looking for an outfit.
"Mommy!" I heard Sophie calling from her room. I quickly dashed over to her room. "What is it sweetie?" I asked her
She came out of the bathroom in her pink fluffy gown holding her toothbrush and some milk teeth toothpaste. She looked up at me "can you help me take out my toothpaste, I can't take it out" she says as she struggles squeezing out the Colgate.
"Aww, sweetie" I smile sweetly at her and bended down to her level. I squeezed out some toothpaste onto her Winnie The Pooh toothbrush
Her mouth opens in excitement as the Colgate slowly landed on her toothbrush "thank you Mommy" she says as took the toothbrush and ran back to her bathroom.
I followed her and looked into the oval mirror "Remember up and down like mommy told you" She nodded and brushed her teeth. I patted her head and kissed it as I walked back into my room.
Back to my fiasco, looking for an outfit, why did I want to look great today? Well other than to impress my boss. Joe it was the day where he would interview us, one on one. So I had to look my best.
After 15 minutes, I finally found the right outfit. Some petite black, Tailored Pinstripe pants, a white ruffle blouse with a grey check waist coat and some Black Patent Heeled Loafers. Just 3 inches. I gathered up my long brunette hair into a half-ponytail and neatly secured it with a sparkly butterfly clip. I then stood on my tipey toes and grinned at my reflection. I finally found the perfect outfit for work today. I could hear Sophie in the other room singing the tune to Dora The Explorer "lets go, vamous, you can lead the way" as she got dressed. I smiled and went downstairs and started to cook breakfast.
Sophie was really excited about going to school; she absolutely loved school, she had two best friends, Alyssa & Olivia and her favourite teacher Mrs Gomez. Mrs Gomez is my friend my high school. Her name is Selena or as I like to call her Selly. She became a teacher a smear 2 years ago, she is married to Nick, who also used to go to my high school and they have a cute, adorable 3 year old daughter called Alyssa who Sophie is friends with.
Sophie favourite subject at school is art, she loves to draw and make crafts. She has a passion for it. For her birthday last year I got her a painting set which came with paint, chalks and crayons. She always draws the beautiful pictures and I love each and every single one of them.
I opened the fridge and grabbed the carton of freshly squeezed orange juice and poured some into her Minnie Mouse cup and placed it on the table. I got out her Minnie Mouse plate and utensils and placed them also on the table. I could hear the TV coming from my bedroom upstairs; Sophie was watching Dora The Explorer, her favourite TV show. I smiled and continued making her pancakes.
10 minutes later and I finished chopping all the strawberries and placed them into a small, round, bowl. I took my apron off and wiped my hands with the towel and went to the staircase to call Sophie.
"Sophie, honey" I called from the bottom of the stairs. "Breakfast is ready"
