This is an extremely good cover, I love kiss and that's y I'm wanting to learn guitar so I can jam out some great tunes like these. Please tell me, how long have you been playing guitar? Just wondering how long until I'll be this good. I'm learning through a video game called rocksmith, if not u should look It up and let me know if u think this is something I can defiantly learn from and become good from

Hello friend, I want to ask you how did you get that tone on Mr Speed. I'm using a Marshall valvestate and can't get that sound at all. It's awesome!
-
@HiOctane62 I have the same problem..I play this the way it is in the video...But tuned down half a step it isnt right..Off just a bit...glad its not just me
-
what is the tuning? I play 1/2 step and when I play with album, it's off.
-
kool...not as easy as it sounds lol

@1heckrzr Yes that slur - slide is key to getting the right sound. On paper it probably can be tabbed single note.
Thanks for the assistance. Will get it right soon.

thannks man, i wanna start with acoustic, and then get into electric, i love the old sound, kiss , ac dc ect. YOU ROCK, MAN!!
Well done! I am doing something wrong on the intro. Most want to play single notes after initial two D-G strums. Looks like you are sliding two notes at once. Mmmm..

@Mookytc Thanks and I think you're headed in the right direction. It is single notes but I think it sounds best when they kinda slur and overlap a bit if that makes sense. Really you only want to hit that second string note after you slide up on the third string. Thanks again.

@SgtHolliday You know I debated on whether to even post these videos of me playing as I'm not that great. But if they got one person to give playing a try it would make it worth it. Go for it! You can do it, it's not rocket science, just takes a lot of practice. Playing can be frustrating at times but if you practice you'll eventually nail it. And guys that can sing and play are always in demand. So get that guitar, take some lessons, and rock it!
