David's rendition of this song always has me in tears.
Always - to the point where I just want to shoot those people in the audience shouting and covering his voice and destroying the peace.

This is the first i've seen and heard this young man preform. I can honestly say i have never witnessed such talent. Remarkable vocals. Unheard of vocals in my lifetime and iv'e been around 50 plus years. My hat's off to David Archuleta. A remarkable talent for the future generation to look up to. Thank's David!

Poor Billy. I would hate to hear this done to a nearly perfect song I had created. Kid's got an amazing voice, but this song....ptthhhht!

That performance is magnificent!!! You can't sing that song more purely as he did! I bet, nobody can sing that song the way as he did.

I've watched Idol foreva......and althoug h David Cook and Archie are so different. and both are amazing.........they Both make watching Idol so MUCH worth it!!!!!!!!!!
One can only hope that future American Idol's competions are as great and down to the wire!
