Man, im gonna make a collection of The Chameleons music and videos, and i will keep them till im old, just to show them to the younger people of the future.
All the money they never won, they won it in emotions.
Thanks.

Dude with post punk It's all about THE SOUND and THE PSYCH FURS... def check'em out

No one ever mentions the drummer but he really holds this thing together, it could be dreary and self pitying but he gives it a real edge and drives it forward.
I am not a drummer.

@MrSecondSkin we mustn't let the stuff that was born of substance and "made tomorrow OK" for so many of us to be lost in the gaudy glare of what was being sold even in grocery stores next to the danielle steele novels..
-
These were the real sounds of the 80s.
-
A band I ADORE - sigh....
-
I love this band.
I would like to see them in bretagne!
-
Won't see a band like this for a long time.

So true...these guys, along with the Cure and others, were the soundtrack of my teen years
-
@coptersoisoi I checked out that song you said and I quite liked it, going to check some more of their stuff ;)
Thanks.

@MrDataCode The Chams are my fave of all post punk bands that followed in the 1980s. Another great band is The Fall. Some of the newer stuff is cool but my favorite from The Fall is "How I wrote elastic man". check them out. there is a new song (or cover) Bury Part's 2+4 and a slightly older song called Reformation

Young people laugh at what they see as the 80s like Duran Duran or Ah Ha because thats the corporate crap that MTV played in those days (Now VH1 classics). That was Mall Music to me. These were the real sounds of the 80s. Chameleons, Bauhaus/Love and Rocket/Tone on Tales, Buzzcocks, The Jam, The Names, Jesus and Mary Chain,The Cure (older),.. the cool bands from the 80s that had a haunting sound like psychedelic music did in the late 60s like King Crimson or Moody blues. So many forgotten :(
