Brisbane Roar's Albanian striker Besart Berisha led the charge with 4 goals to his name with Brisbane scoring 5 goals in just 15 minutes during the first half. Henrique slotted home two penalties whilst Issey Nakajima-Farran added another goal.

3-0 at half time in soccer normally means the result is pretty much determined. Not always, but almost always. The team ahead usually closes up shop and as it is the easiest game to defend in, it's normally impossible to pull back that type of lead. Rather then bemoan a goal feast, it should be savoured. But because it is so rare, soccer will never drive the Monday morning conversations at work or school. In a sporting mad country replete with football code choice, soccer just don't cut it.

@pageois Winning 1 or 2-0 is usually just as enjoyable because of all the close calls in matches. It's what makes football the greatest, rather than just constant scoring where the opposition has no hope of clawing back.
