  • using the same scales over and over means ure ignorant...as far as random notes go marty freedmen uses them quite well in between his licks

  • No, you don't. Can you read english? I said SAME pattern. You can make solos that don't use the same scales all over. I play guitar myself, so don't try to be a smart ass.

  • yeh i noticed that too. Any guitarists know what scale he uses in those fast shred bits. Im guessing Minor scale but it sounds similar to a pentatonic as well.

  • I FCUKN LOVE YOU ZAKK! U ROCK!

  • while all styles are worth respecting, even as musicians we do tend to draw from and hence favor musicians we as individuals fancy.

  • ok so you want guitarists to play random notes and stuff? are you stupid? it needs to sound good so you need to play notes that go with other notes... im a guitarist... any fucking response you throw at me will be stupid and i can assure you that

  • holy shit Zakk in highschool hes just as original in style as he is now like considering how long ago this was hes amazing for his age in this video

  • are those marshalls in zakk's back the 1987 X 50 watt plexis ?

  • yeah, like somme people say "Alexis lahio is better than santana" well, they don't play the same stuff at all, so you can't really compare them...

  • Any musician who has been around their craft long enough will tell you there is no "better" or "worse" - just "different styles."
