Pacific Salmon Foundation: Worth It.mov

The Pacific Salmon Foundation has released a video Public Service Announcement to call attention to the important role recreational anglers can play in sustaining wild Pacific salmon in British Columbia. The PSA features an angler fishing in a B.C. stream and uses moving graphics to highlight the amount of money anglers spend on fishing guides, licenses and gear. The video makes clear that these anglers depend on the yearly return of salmon and steelhead for their recreation as well as to nourish their friends and family. Their effort, time and money would be worthless without wild Pacific salmon.

The Public Service Announcement debuted on the Going Fishing TV show with Darryl Choronzey, appearing across Canada on Global. It is also being distributed to other television stations and online to promote wild Pacific salmon conservation in British Columbia.
