A bite-sized clip from "Shovelglove Supplemental: Samurai Aerobics"
Don't know about Shovelglove? Go to Shovelglove.com to find out more! Shovelglove is the intellectual property of Reinhard Engles; to whom I am merely a fan-boy. I take no responsibility, legal or personal, if you try these goof-ball moves of mine and end up damaged as a result. So don't sue me, please! ;)
In Kendo and other Japanese sword arts, the "sword" (in whatever form) is held with the left hand toward the bottom of the sword, and the right hand up toward the hilt, with the left foot back and right foot forward. Thus, you would be holding the sword "left-handed). Obviously, since this is an exercise routine you want to do both sides, but just wanted to give an historical perspective.
