  • Is this from the "Hot Rods in Pontiac" bootleg?

  • @TOSportsFan1990 yep. I was there, we talked about it every day for a year. Awesome.

  • @jaysfca They didn't played ALS in Berlin 1980.

  • @skrufstrong This version is a bit slow. Rotterdam in 1980 is excellent. And Trampled Underfoot in Berlin in1980 is spectacular.

  • From just this one song you can tell they still had it as the world's biggest band in 77. I wish the footage would come already. It was definitely one of the better concerts from 77. The very mixed Seattle show just does not properly represent LZ on their last year of their musical prime, ruling the rock/metal scene. After LZ canceled the rest of the tour, disco, punk and all other bad music REALLY took over. After 77, they REALLY fell, musically, successfully and Bonzo's death really ended it.

  • @TOSportsFan1990 ya with 76,229 people

  • Is this the show that set the record for largest crowd for a single act?

  • @IstOne1989

    it is amazing that with all the zep boots that it never came out, (or a sound board from this show). We can always hope

  • @IstOne1989 ok thanks,it's pity;

  • @ced95570

    actually the silverdome concert on 30 april 1977 was pro-shot by some video company, but there is no multi-track audio recorded and none of the video footage was released even as bootleg. the same is for the houston concert on 21 may 1977 and the seattle 17 july 1977 - those were also pro-shot, but nobody knows about any decent audio record. the seattle show was the only one that has been released as a bootleg record - you can find footage of it on youtube as well.
