Cremaster 6

Cremaster Cycle is a sequence of six films by Matthew Barney, entitled Cremaster 1 to Cremaster 6 which create a self-enclosed aesthetic system. The conceptual departure point for the cycle is the male cremaster muscle, and the films are filled with anatomical allusions to reproductive organs and the process of sexual differentiation.
In his last work, the artist proposes a trip to the balance across castration.

I second what MrJamiesgirl09 says. I understand that you are making fun of a mainstream artist but this is NOTHING like the Cremaster Cycle. Not the music, imagery, or QUALITY. Why dont you call this YOUR OWN art piece instead? then it would not be critiqued as being a piece of shit joke against Matthew Barney.

There are only 5 films in the Cremaster cycle and this is not one of them. There is no Barney in this piece. This is either a cheezy attempt to equate the work of an unknown with that of a top-tier artist or a clumsy attempt at parody. Either way, they probably shouldn't be tempting fate by using Bjork's music with it. Unfortunately, it doesn't work as a stand-alone piece any more than as a derivative.

I watched less then 2 minutes but loved it and I appreciate Barney's work - I think he is Genius. So this "homage" was fun and funny.. Good job.
