Hand Throttle

This is a hand throttle that I threw together one day, after driving with it for a while I found that it works quite well and isn't in the way while driving. I got the cruise control parts and bicycle brake lever for free, the cable cost me about $5

Just the throttle return spring at the throttle body. I used the factory cruise control add on (it just clips to the side of the accelerator cable at the throttle body) and the hand lever has a small spring to return the handle to the open position, it works well, I haven't had any issues with sticking thus far.

I like the way the handle combo came out.So am I getting this right, this setup mirrors the foot accelerator? If so, what type of positive return mechanism do you use?
