ARGuing will help teachers use the Internet within language education. The project is funded by the European Union within the Lifelong Learning programme. The ARGuing project created 'The Tower of Babel' Alternate Reality Game to motivate secondary school students across Europe to learn languages with great success. see http://www.arg-education.eu/

  • I'd like to hear more about some of the underlying pedagogical theories that are behind this and what instruments were used in order to evaluate the benefits of the approach. Where can I find out more?

  • On the project website you will find a number of documents that I hope will answer your requirements. arg.paisley.ac.uk index.php (links not accepted in YouTube comments)

There has also been 5 peer-reviewed academic papers on the project including an evaluation.
