The workmen came and fixed the roof and the ceiling. At last.

I am going to have to find other things to worry about and other excuses for not getting on with things now.

This is not a very thrilling video for anyone else, I am sure, but I made it anyway.

  • my roof is leaking right now as i type this :(

  • Oh no, I hope it gets fixed soon. Mine got very bad before it was fixed (two years of rain doesn't help!)

  • Hey Elise thank you for your brilliant vid!

I have my own leaky roof and when I was googling for info I found your video.

It gives me hope :)! I, too, shall soon have a dry ceiling!

  • Well I hope you do manage to get it fixed! Mine was like it for two years.

  • That's nice to be rid of that dread problem.

You'll probably need to be setting off an aresol disenfectant bomb to rid that joint of the molds and microbes(did you see the movie "The Blob"... it could happen to you!).

I'd no idea wet plaster looked like that.

I'd say scrub all surfaces and paint the whole joint, because of "The Blob," you must lock that Blob behind fresh paint.

  • Good thinking! I don't have many insects in here (do have rats though) so maybe something blob-like is killing them before they get to me.
