Above all else folks it's down to our attitudes as parents.....we can all sit here and feel sorry for ourselves and for the kids we imagined we would have.....OR...we play with the cards we were dealt with BEACUSE THESE KIDS WERE MEANT TO BE BORN TO US...and step up as parents and do what we're supposed to.

@delts99 Yes I would like some advice for my four year old son. He was diagnosed with high functioning autism. He is talking some and still need a lot of cues on what to say. Please let me know if you have any advice for me. Oh , he has speech and ot therapy as well. Thanks

Vaccination does NOT cause autism. You need to stop with your delusions.
As a very mildly autistic person I think you and people "like" you need to stop believing in myths.
Autism is most likely genetic.

I am shocked at the amount of medication you give your son especially when you blame medicine for his Autism, I would never medicate my children. My daughter was non verbal, potty trained at 5 didn't walk till she was three all this was done by myself and my husband with love and support not quack doctors, and you don't recover from Autism you learn stratergies to cope with it. May God Bless your son.

Wel there is only a fiew areas in this would you can get Stem Cell Therapy, one clinic is in Purto rico sorry if i spelled that wrong, and I also think somewhere in Japan. But im not sure but I think this treatment is very expensive.
Those aren't "medicines" they are supplements, vitanines. Autistic childrens bodies are lacking very much in certain areas. Also, I don't blame medicines. I said we think preservatives (mercury) in vaccines helped contribute to the Autism. We think there is a genetic factor that it triggers making his body unable to excrete toxins like ours. Doctors tried to medicate Kale but the diet helped so much more, We also put our faith in God, not doctors. Bless your daughter as well:)

I know your brother has tons to say. He also knows how much you love him. So keep helping him fight and celebrate each accomplishment he makes. Don't forget to give your self a big pat on the back too, it's hard to watch a loved one try so hard to do simple things. It sure makes us appreciate all that we can do. Good luck to you and Nicky, don't ever stop helping him try:)

Parents listen up! My son, at age 2 was diagnosed with moderate/severe autism and we were told that he would probably never speak. Now at almost 6 he is entering mainstream school on-time and we cannot keep him quiet from talking wanting to learn. We did nothing spectaular except using what he was focussed on as a learning point. It all started with the colour yellow. You have to believe in your child and committ yourself to helping them. It is worth it! Message me if you need help/advice
