Thanks! I switched form 19T to 21T and that really helped. The clutch is prone to slip with this gearing, but the ride is much more comfortable. I have plenty of bottom power, but it took me a long time jetting it to obtain this. Good luck with your N15.

not only a good dune slider, but a great hill climber, as well. it's a really great tractable motorcycle... wish i had another... sigh...

Some of the responces are saying that they changed to a 21 from a 19 tooth trans sprocket. THe N15cs, G15cs came with a 17 tooth. I switched from the orignal 17 to a 20 and didn't like it. So I went to the 19 and it made it just right for this bike.

@mikesn15cs1 Yes, 17T was standard, mine came with 19T from the States and I changed to 21T as this suits my riding better. A matter of taste - I find it too shaky at higher revs, but on the other side, it pulls like a train when it is allowed some revs.

Nice bike. I have a N15cs 1967 on You Tube. Check it out. @ APIM0270.AVI
I love these bikes when they are tuned to the max. I'll never sell mine!

i had one of these in 1968 and used it in the sand and dunes out by the seashore and it was great to ride in that sort of terrain. needs knobbier tires to do that.
what i loved about it was its bottom end torque - it would pull like a tractor.

Great story. It definately pulls like a tractor. I have never been in the rough with it, but apart from the sheer weight of the thing, I am pretty sure it is a good dune slider.
