If the Sifu/Sensei sets a boundary on which techniques to train and which you have to wait for being taught to you, you ought to accept it. This shows respect and trust into the knowledge of him/her. Bruce Lee wasn't patient enough to follow the way of his Sifu/Sensei so he broke up with him and that is why he started to invent Jeet Kune-Do in the first place.
@mizquitl true, because he was extremely cocky, and he made those noises, so now everyone imitates him, expecting that every martial artist does that. Same thing with the first Karate Kid Movie... I wish that they brought back the Shaw Brothers to America

Bruce Lee maybe put the worlds eyes into the direction of Wing Tsun based styles. But he also has given Kung Fu a bad name.
