  • And important fact that never gets mentioned in these stories is that the Keystone pipeline already exists. It takes the tar sands oil from Alberta to refineries in Illinois for distribution and sale within the USA. The thing that got cancelled today was the "XL" extension of the pipeline, which would take the oil to the Gulf of Mexico for export to other countries. If they really wanted to increase our domestic energy supply, they could just *expand* the existing line without controversy.

  • @taiwanjohn88 exactly right.this is a victory for the entire world.the alberta bone-heads and there conservative party allies are scrambling, they are threatening a pipe-line through the pristine mountains forests and rivers of northern british columbia, over lands claimed by native peoples.that is not likely of occurring.i may yet be able to travel through europe without being spit on.i thank you for that, america.

  • I love Mark Ruffalo. Great segment!!!

  • Why do I get the feeling that Obama will eventually allow this to happen? I like Obama, but lately some of his decisions I can not stand behind.

  • Hey the new Bruce Banner. You better do a good job in the Avengers. I hope it doesn't suck.

  • @Dozguyz314 Yeah and Rand Paul supports NAFTA. He voted for three free trade agreements. Korea, Panama, and Colombia

  • Go Mark!

  • Our Government run's companies out of here.Remember Ross Perot said NAFTA will cripple US by 15 year mark.It took 14.The bridge they talk about is a Toll Bridge and the Billionairez can afford it.

  • Campaign contribribes

  • @taiwanjohn88 The money goes to the big oil companies. The oil is not even coming from our country. Americans are tired of this. They have fought the pipeline all the way to where it stops. This is no new story indeed. People are tired of money flowing through their country with no jobs to show for it. Controversy is not going to go away because they want to build a pipeline that goes through the dumbest choices of land, and they just want to build the cheapest structure as well.

  • Whew. It's getting better. At least the Dems and Repubs are on the same side against the people..... Ahhh Boehner and Gingrich and Romney. Thanks for restoring my views of the status quo
