Demi and Joe are in a relationship, but one day they have a discursion and he hits her.
She feels like her world fades away completely, because Joe was the person who she most loved.
Nick is the best friend of Demi, but he is in love with her. Nick always hated Joe because never thought he was the right person for her and when she discovers that he has hit her, he totally hates him.
Demi takes time to recover from his break, and she feels that she has made a mistake. On the one hand wants to go back with Joe, but she is frightened by whether he hits her again. And in the other hand she has Nick, her best friend, who never hut her.
At the end she has to choose between Joe, the love of his life, or Nick, the person who was always there for her.
