She is wonderful.. But I think she has Asperger's or something.. like many creative and wonderful people do. And don't bring up Bill Gates because he's an evil freak.

One of the things I adore the most about this amazing writer and musician is that her work angers some people, even making them want to break things or punch her or tear her apart. Feel that? That is her spell. She is purifying evil.

There is nothing wrong with Joanna Newsom. No disabilities. And I understand that her voice isn't the usual thing you hear.... but that doesn't mean she's not a good singer. She is, as you can say, the woman Bob Dylan.

I introduce people to her music by saying "Approach this like you would a Dylan record. Genius in an odd voice done for effect more than necessity". Once you "get" Joanna it's an amazing experience.
