What I love about Mac is not it's posh look, or it's hardware.

It's what amazingly cool features come with the OS. Not just iLife but even simple things like backups (Time Machine) and it's navigation where you can see all the files in every step of the directory that you're browsing in rather than just the file your in, the dashboard, F10 & F11 commands, and that all the files on a mac are based on individual ID tags, as opposed to their filename...

You tell me which OS is smarter.

guys stop this fucking flaming! pc vs mac, that doesnt even fucking make sense. PC stands for personal computer so unless any of you are claiming that a mac is not a computer then a mac IS a PC. which makes all this bickering a waste of time. congrats

humansteel, PC's literal translation is Personal Computer yes, but the everyday translation means a computer running a microsoft made OS, e.g. Dell running Windows 7 or something.

If gaming is out of the picture then why doesnt everyone just buy netbooks which cost less and you can load up OSX; i know I did ;> battery life is longer too call me crazy but 12 hours seems to be much longer than a macbook no? you can't game on netbooks but it is more portable and SO CUTE! this one will get the girls

Ultimate since it's the ALL AROUND PC which are normally mid range. and common sense and a few clicks shows you that the high end desktop is the MAC PRO. And the only other desktops Apple has are the Mac Mini and iMac and the Mac Mini is the low end. I'd say the iMac is mid range. and what was the MacBook running? XP, 7, or Vista? (Because XP and Vista are BOTH supposed to be slower than 7)And don't even start on price. You'll never understand or accept the reasons.
