No. He was falling at that other player pushed him and that caused him to bend weird. Jared Allen was stumbling.

@Iliff33AndA3rd it was 1 step after the ball was released. besides, how was he supposed to know it was out anyways? after Allen trips, he stumbling to get back on his feet, and it looks like insead of running into him he just attempted to hit the dirt, he was going to run into him no matter what. but thats just my opinon. but to say thats the kind of guy Allen is? how often do you even watch this guy?

Cheap! Down on ground & back up to pursue. But it was 2 or 2&1/2 steps after ball is released. He could have avoided contact. Just the kind of guy Allen is.

@ThePistons4life It's not an excuse though. Still a late hit. When JJ Watts did it to Big Ben, it was an automatic penalty... Even though the referees were quite trigger happy during that game.
