Gameloft Launched Terminator Salvation Mobile Game

Manila, Philippines, May 30, 2009 The worldwide leader in downloadable video games officially announced their presence in the Philippines with the launch of the action-packed Terminator Salvation mobile game at My Cinema in Greenbelt 3, Makati. The announcement was made by Randy Manaog, Gameloft Account Manager for the Philippines, to local media and gaming enthusiasts treating them to a demo of the game, a play-all-you-can, and a special screening of the movie Terminator Salvation. Now that Gameloft is here you can be sure that the hottest and most exciting mobile games are immediately available to the Philippine gaming communities, Randy said.

Terminator Salvation, the mobile game, lets you experience leading the Resistance in a merciless fight to destroy Skynet and save mankind. The reproduction of the movies universe in post-apocalyptic Los Angeles provides a perfect showcase for an action-packed videogame with two playable characters, John Connor or Marcus Wright, each having their own strengths and special abilities.

The game has nine shooting levels that will take you to five different environments based on the movie and a dynamic console-type third person view never before seen on mobile which projects the player onto the battlefield. It has triple gameplay mixing, shooting missions on foot and while driving futuristic vehicles with intense platforming action and a new dynamic cover system; behind a cover, the character can scan his environment to target enemies and shoot, and only takes damage from nearby explosions but not from bullets. The game has very diverse missions such as destroying specific targets, hacking into computers, flying or driving futuristic vehicles, seeking and destroying moving enemies, defending areas and more. It also has two different hacking mini-games that will put the players memory, control and logical abilities to the test.
