Bubbies to Grandmothers is a journal created by the Bubbies of Shalom Village in Hamilton Canada to raise funds to help Grandmothers in Africa who are raising their orphaned grandchildren. There are more than 13 million children in Africa who have been orphaned as the AIDS epidemic has nearly wiped out an entire generation. Funds raised go to the Stephen Lewis Foundation to support their work in Africa.
