  • arent V1s notorious for being weak with 35.5? it seems to be good

  • @mujjuman When compared to the top dog detectors (Redline, 9500ci, etc.), the V1 is behind. However, the V1 still provides ticket saving performance against Ka 35.5.

  • Pardon my ignorance, but what is I/O?

  • @SudiArabia I/O is when a LEO intentionally turns his radar unit on then off (standby mode) every time he wants to get the speed of a vehicle. This makes it harder for radar detectors because the detector won't detect a signal while the LEO's radar unit is in Standby mode. So a radar detector user won't receive an alert until the officer targets a vehicle in front of the detector user or the detector user's vehicle.

  • Was the leo shooting forward or rear facing radar?

  • Forward

  • @rrdtogo Ah I see, makes sense. People on the forum make it seem that the V1 is totally blind when it comes to 35.5

  • This guy was really trying to give someone a ticket, I/O a whole lot.

  • The V1 ghosted.

  • Did you V1 ghost at about 1:30 or is that another bogey?
