My Thoughts on Gay Rights (a project for my social studies class)

I had to write a paper on social injustice, so I chose the topic of gay rights. This is a graded piece, so please leave comments on this video. I also welcome video responses, the video response box WILL be open, so feel free to leave a video response as well.

@jdcinsf I'm not very sure on the polotics, the most I know is that the laws currently set abiding the gay comunity from not having rights is unconstitutional, against the 9th and 14th amendments (especially the 14th) Otherwise, I know as much as the average graduating 8th grader. I'll look into it.

@thizizliz Thank you! It's nice to make a difference in the world, I hope to do that as I grow up and while I make a living and a family one day. I hope to remain an activist for as long as it takes to see my mother hold hands in public and openly get married and to have all the benefits as well.

@TheRadicalreels Thank you! We are coming to see a new dawn, DOMA is trying to be repealed by the Federal Government, and slowly them movement is making a stand! I will say though, supporters like you are what keep the movement going, because everyone counts!

@Fedoraman370 DOMA and DADT. A good start. We all need to stick together. Us old folks and you young people. "Each one, teach one" and it will get done. The difference is that I have nothing to lose; as a high school student, you are a very courageous young man. Your Moms are right to be so proud of you. I hope your message gets out and encourages some others to take a stand for equality.I admire you!
