That is good advice from Monkeyeagle , the `pipers grip`- once you get a feel for it ,is actually more comfortable .
Pop quiz;
Did you know the :Ressikan flute was recently sold for $48,000 .

I have to Thank you for posting your videos too! There are not many on Youtube featuring the MK low D. I hope to have mine in a week or so,and after hearing how Great yours sounds I am really looking forward to getting it! Sounds like you really like your MK quite well!

You Sound really good! I should be getting one of these MK's very soon! I reckon you should learn the "Low Whistle grip" though so you don't hurt your wrists. I was playing a long Anasazi flute I got last year,and I hurt my right wrist by trying to cover the holes with my finger tips. With the low whistle grip your wrists remain much healthier!

Thanks for your Advice about the Grip Technique.
My wrist and hand are already a bit "different as it should be".
I'll try to learn the Grip, but currently it hurts much more, than my *bad* grip.
Because I like the MK that much (so I will play more often with this and the Overton Goldie), it should be possible to change to the "Low Whistle" (or Pipers) Grip..
