A parody of government internet spying.

Synopsis: Bell Sympatico is monitoring on your internet use and could be willing to give it over to the Federal Government.

Find out how, in this Cynically Tested short.

ATTENTION CANADIANS:

Bell Sympatico has informed its customers that it intends to "monitor or investigate content or your use of your service provider's networks and to disclose any information necessary to satisfy any laws, regulations or other governmental request.''

The Conservative Federal government is expected to revive and pass an internet surveillance bill.If this legislation is reintroduced, it could allow police unfettered access to personal information without a warrant.
Long story long, the government and Sympatico are working together to watch us surf the internet.

  • Boring... Stupid... Retarded... I know you don't expect those sorta things from someone called 'purfectpuff' but, hey! That's Life!

  • Well at least your comment was somewhat humourous.

  • hahahha i love it XD

  • Hey thanks for the comment unfortunately a year later things are just as bad.

  • 2funny. Although, it's not Bell's fault. They just inform their customers that IF the government pass a law, they will have to obey the law, like any other service provider. You won't be safer with Rogers, Cogeco are any other. You should yell at the government...not at Bell.

  • It is Bell's fault - everyone likes to pass the buck, but why do this before the government even passes the law? You are right you may not be safer with the others, but atleast those others are waiting for the law to be passed first. Not only is Bell not standing up to the government they're not even pretending to care. All of the companies that let this happen are to blame, the bottom line is companies and government cave to public pressure, so thats why people should know about it.

  • Very good video :) but yeah thats where we are headed

  • I had some bell telemarketer call me the other day, and BOY, did he ever make a mistake. The first thing out of his mouth was "are you satisfied with your bell internet service?" ... Poor guy didn't know what he was in for. Between the spying, the throttling, and traffic shaping I am most certainly NOT satisfied with my bell internet service.

  • Intro is too long.

  • totally illegal and they are doing it those scum bag BELL provider

  • Excellent work, though unfortunately not just a Canadian issue these days, looks like almost every country is gunning for these levels of control.

All services on the net need to implement end-to-end encryption immediately, for starters. YouTube included. Now let's see just how many take up that... (I doubt you'll find Google search offering it anytime soon, for instance).

  • exactly, but the people are to blame for this so its their fault

  • I just shat bricks. . . thank you sir, this was hilarious

  • "you choose terrorist"

    LMAO!
