@hamzaw1 slowest system i have try win 7 on was a AthlonXP 1700+ which is 1.47Ghz

so it should be okay as long as u have enough ram

every time i removed the cover or sometime i only removed the start up button cover n the green chip at the start button it will auto-off

which mean it will only on for 1 second / less

i'm using travelmate 290

what's the problem?

because there is no display / it when to black screen when i turn it on (fan not working but the power is on)

i have a motherboard problem n it only last for 3 weeks after repairing it n i'm tired of keep sending it back to repair center...

@akuuler if motherboard is faulty (which is common on laptops) then u can expect it gone, but you never know, tho there isn't much suggestion i can give u since i don't get to see its condition

@Sadorath no i dunno how to, even tho i know how it works, u need to have knowledge on how monitor works to do that , i was reading some toturials other laptop screens, simply google about it ,

Hey would you know hoe to Convert Acer TravelMate 2200 Display into a external display?

Like my cpu/mobo fried HD still good maybe the 256MB DDR Ram.. but ya.. anyway Im the reverse of that situation..
