You need to enable it thru Vag-Com though (listed under the video in the "details")

My 2010 GTI doesn't beep like that, but I want to enable the sweep. Is it going to start the beeps when enabled?

@grahamek86
No it won't beep. Enabling the sweep doesn't cause the beep.
It was only because my seat belt wasn't on for that quick video

how do you make it do that.

@bamuchem
You need Vag Com and you go under: Address 17 Instruments, Adaptation 10, Select "Staging" from the drop down list, select "Active" from the drop down list....done.
Not all clusters will be able to do it though...only certain ones (different part numbers -- you have to look on the back of the cluster & if it ends in "H"...it'll work).
Or just plug in Vag Com & worst case scenario....it'll either do it or it won't.

how many beeps does it sound?
I like it but the beeping is annoying!

@karateo
The beeps are normal everytime you start the car or put it in Run mode (for your seatbelt I think).
The only difference now is that the gauges sweep back and forth before you start the car
