No that hasn't been modified. There is a misunderstanding about that. Cutting the grey wire only changes setting of your dash to "race mode". It hasn't got anything to do with ignition setting or wathever.

@vanmeelmotoren01 The WR bikes sold in the USA are the only ones that gain from the grey wire mod. It restricts the timing to meet noise and pollution limits. As far as I know, everywhere else in the world the grey wire doesn't have a conductor inside the connector, so cutting it won't have any affect.

I have a USA WR and it definitely didn't change my dash.

@vanmeelmotoren01 to change your dash to race mode you hold both buttons for 3 seconds as it says in the owners manual. I think you got it wrong?
