  • are you a latter day saint? Do they have membership??

  • @nathuwjohn

Yes, I am a Latter-day Saint. (Mormon) What I mean by "a member" of the church is that you belong to it. When you get baptized in the LDS church you are then considered a "member" of the church. However, as far as shopping at the LDS cannery near you, they are open to the public and don't ask in any way if you are a member of the LDS church. They just want people to get prepared for coming food shortages, unemployment, natural disasters, as we near the 2nd Coming of Christ.

Also, about the cannery that I forgot to mention in the video, you can walk in and buy bulk bags of beans, wheat, rice and put them in buckets, but you have to make an appointment to put things in cans yourself in a "do-it-yourself" situation. I put some things in cans that can't go into buckets such as powdered milk, cocoa drink mix, rolled oats, apple chips, dried onions, dried carrots.
