dude i had the same problem. i sent it off to htc 2 days ago and i think u should too :)

I have two stuck pixel on my HTC Hero too. You can only see them in camera mode at full brightness when you cover the lense. Still annoying.... gonna contact HTC maybe.
You could try the app jscreenfix it may fix your problem.

Oh! Isnt that strange.. May be you should ask HTC.. btw.. the display seems to be very good.. blacks are very deep!
