one of the biggest things that confused me the most about the ending, and I firmly believe that your conclusion in this video is correct, EXCEPT that why is baby Aaron at the end in the church? He never died. If the island REALLY happened and they got off the first time with Aaron, and they never went back with him the second time, then aaron, therefore, never died on the island. But then again, like you said, this is a fantastic series that leaves room for discussion and mystery and that's why

I forget what episode but Micheal say to Hugo sthat he's stuck on the island for what he did and that he cant move on. That's also when you find out that the whispers are all the people who cant move on from the island as well.
