@Tenorliebe I saw Di Stefano in concert circa 1959 at Carnegie hall. His voice was full &round. It had a velvet quality to it and his overtones were beautiful.A white voice is usually one that cannot be distinguished & has no unique quality. This is NOT the case with Di Stefano. As a suggestion you may want to try his Mignon arias,A Non Credevi Tu. Very Beautiful. Enjoy
