  • @claggluru looks more like boss rod-10 rack distortion overdrive effect

  • I always thought it sounded like one, but pretty sure that was a BOSS HM-2 Guitar pedal on the floor in that clip

  • So great to see everyone here enjoying memories of good times and Def FX vibes! I am putting together a Def FX 2012 reunion tour and need your support! Please go to Facebook, search 'Def FX' and click 'Like' on our page and lets get a 15 year reunion tour on the road! The more numbers we have the more likely I can get us sponsorship to make it happen. Cheers and thanks!!

  • Check out wintergardendk on myspace for some fresh riffs. All the Best, Blake.

  • Classic memories...

Thanx for the upload and kind words..

My mum used to say that I should show my face more when I played guitar as well...

Back then though, it was a wall of sound/hair type thing going on:-)

As far as all the rumours and insinuations go, I still hav'nt heard one that is true yet. Not to say there was'nt any drama, but in this perticular instance the truth is actually stranger than fiction, but thats a book in its self, so I'll leave it there, with a smile.

    Lastly if anyo

  • lolz Mosman one of the richest suburbs in sydney, ooh then poor musos LOL

  • I have the first 2 albums safely stored away from harm with the rest of my 80s and early 90s records. I went to ultimo tech with Blake in 1987 as we were both doing the signwriting trade course, though back then he did not have all the hair going lol. I do recall him saying that he was into music and was very keen on pursueing it further.. i'd never seen the interview or the clips before so thankyou to those that have put them up... though its 20 years late, well done Blake and DEF FX :)

  • lol how odd my name is also Sean Lowry...

  • I saw Def FX live at the Collector Tavern in Parramatta way back in the 90s... really great intense show. I was one of those pesky fools who got up and stagedived into the mosh-pit at the front of the show, and think I kicked a security guard accidentally as I did it... from next week any stage-divers were instantly evicted from the premises...

I remember my friend warning me before the show "be careful, Fiona is a witch!"

Haha. Blessed be Fi, whatever you're doing now.

  • Read Her books - then you might be able to work the real truths out from hear-say
